**Dining at In Vin: A Mixed Experience** Nestled within The Vin Hotel, In Vin presents an inviting atmosphere complemented by a fascinating menu. While many dishes impress—especially seafood, steak, and pasta—some offerings miss the mark, drawing comparisons to chain restaurants for their quality. Unique cocktails and attentive service enhance the experience, yet the ambiance can be cramped and loud. Despite some culinary hits, like the Chilean Sea Bass and innovative appetizers, patrons have remarked on inconsistencies, both in food and service. For those seeking a vibrant dining option, In Vin could be worthwhile, but expectations should be tempered based on varying experiences.
Once again we had a wonderful experience. Good cocktails, good food and great service. Love to come here.
One of the coolest places to go, many different entertainment venues we had dinner in the main room by the bar and window this was our 4th time having dinner there since it opened and the food was much better this time. We had the 8oz Filet with the glazed carrots and mashed potatoes so good but what was missing was a bread basket or rolls, especially for the price we should have had that, but overall really good.
The service, atmosphere, and food were all wonderful, but I found myself facing a bar counter that had about 25 dirty glasses throughout my entire meal. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it was definitely distracting and not ideal.
The food was outstanding, and the service was unparalleled compared to any other restaurant I've ever been to. Chef Hector Espinoza created amazing Mediterranean dishes with a Southern Texas flair, featuring prime rib and sea bass. This is a restaurant you definitely shouldn't miss, especially for special occasions, as the dishes are served family-style, making it ideal for groups.
I went for brunch with a friend last week and was so impressed that I decided to return for dinner with another friend. We shared the Chilean Sea Bass, which was absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked, moist, and flaky. To top off the evening, I indulged in a rich chocolate martini. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
