What T B likes about Matsukaze Japanese Restaurant:
My family has loved this place since it opened. My personal favorites are the miso soup, chicken teriyaki, kalbi ribs, and shrimp and vegetable tempura. Maybe it's because I grew up eating these dishes here, but I haven't found a Japanese or Korean restaurant in the U.S. or abroad that I like as much as Matsukaze. View all feedback. What Eda Powlowski doesn't like about Matsukaze Japanese Restaurant:
The wait time was over 45 minutes so me and my wife left to go somewhere else. We were really excited about experiencing the delicious food. Our time was limited due to babysitter issues so this restaurant gets a low rating from me until they improve their efficiency. View all feedback.

The teriyaki chicken with tempura is the best around! I would even say best in Oregon!
This restaurant is very charming and the staff are kind. The food is a poor example of Japanese cuisine, and extremely overpriced.

read moreMatsukaze restaurant in Grants Pass is a hidden gem that offers delicious Japanese and Korean dishes. While some customers have experienced issues with wait times and order accuracy, many rave about the food quality and convenience of the lunch specials. The cozy and clean atmosphere, along with friendly service, make it a great spot for a date night or family dinner. The menu may be limited, but the items offered are fresh, hot, and reasonably priced. Overall, Matsukaze is a must-try for those craving authentic Asian cuisine in Southern Oregon.

Longtime Grants Pass fixture. Food is still awesome. Service is fast and friendly. Teriyaki sauce is killer as well as their katsu sauce.
