Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House

I'm almost giving this a three star based on my last visit, but because every other time has been good, I'll let it slide.

As far as Sawmill's go this one is the best I've ever been to.

This is a tough review for meI hope we'll be able to return and improve the score.

Went with my family to the saw mill as it is my wife's favourite spot in town it happened to be wing night and we had our 15 year old daughter with us. We knew we could not sit in the lounge so we went prepared to sit in the restaurant side. Well we find out wing night only applies to the lounge side. We thought that was not fair to their customers so we left not sure if we will be back any time soon.

Arrived in Grande Prairie this afternoon and our daughter booked us at the Sawmill. They said the service varies but usually good. Well after 25 minutes we each had a glass of warm water. We had a older gentleman as our waiter and he was friendly but it seemed he needed more help. Coffee cold, bacon and scallops so over cooked. The prime rib was way undercooked. Serving trays left in our isle through supper. Constant interruptions, so much as the family across from us had the same complaints. We won't be back.
