What Roman Upton likes about Hong Kong House:
Don't let the location, and late hours scare you. This place was a good choice for a late night meal while working. We went in with 4 of us late in the evening and i was not expecting much but i was really suprised. Greeted as soon as we walked in by very friendly staff, and im guessing a family run business. The portions were large and the food was very good. The combo for 1 was more than enough, probably could of f... View all feedback. What BunnyTST doesn't like about Hong Kong House:
How do I come and ask for extra hot sauce, mind you the rice taste really bland, too salty so I need hot sauce. Tell me how they gonna charge me almost $8 for 2 small packs of hot sauce. Come on.......... Was overpriced before for bad quality now its extremely overpriced for the same quality. Will not be going there anymore. Matter fact at all. And it's sad cause I eat rice everyday. read moreOn a positive note, a late-night visit pleasantly surprised a group with friendly staff, large portions, and delicious food, especially the tender ginger beef. A Vancouver transplant enjoyed the generous portions, authentic flavors, and consistent quality of their meals. A self-proclaimed picky eater found the ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, and chow mein to be amazing, with large portions that were still crispy upon delivery. Another customer appreciated the large portions and delicious flavors of the combos for one, which lasted for multiple meals. Someone looking for late-night options was impressed with the generous portions and fresh, tender meats, especially the fantastic chop suey and chow mein, as well as the light and flakey spring rolls. They also noted the accommodating nature of the restaurant for those with dietary restrictions. Overall, the restaurant is a popular choice for late-night meals with good food quality, large portions, and reasonable prices, catering to various preferences and accommodating special requests.
We've been ordering from Hong Kong House for years. Friendly service even on pick-up. Good selection and quality. The portions are generous.
