Took an order of Chinese food home to the familyThe food was hot, fresh, and the portions were comparable to the competitors around town.Their sweet and sour pork is better NOW than when the previous owners operated this place. Received a flyer in the mail, thought we'd give it a try, smaller restaurant in business mall setting, one waitress, one table set aside for owner, tables are crammed, we sat in front of the counter as they were busy during lunch hour, menu was the same piece of paper I received in mail, service was ok, we tried one of the specials, fried rice was not fresh, chicken looked like fish sticks cut into pieces, wonton sou... It was always a western version of chinese food but it had wonderful flavor. Now it is bland , the sauces have no flavor, the ginger beef was all burn with no taste.No rice with a 45.00 dollar meal , not so much a a fortune cookie. Never again will I walk through the door.
There are not a lot of good Chinese places in town but we thought we would try Don's Dining. We took a friend with us big mistake. The food was not traditional Chinese food and really did not appeal to us. My friend was from Hong Kong and she didn't care for the fare either. Maybe we were expecting more for the money.
We used to get out takeout at the Golden star but it seems to be worse every time! Dons dining was friendly and tasted AMAZING! We will defiantly be back!

The boss is always saying hi & asking the customers how their day was, saying thank you. The food is prepared fresh, with no MSG used. The food is cooked really fast. They only have two cooks & one main waitress though, so it does sometimes get busy busy!! {for the people who complain about the service} The food tastes amazing. 5-star***** Best Chinese Food In Town!
