What NemoTraveler doesn't like about Boston Pizza:
Located at Westgate Drive, close to other dining options. The food was standard Boston Pizza and the service okay. We came at a busy time, which may explain that we did not find the place as clean as expected for a Boston Pizza. View all feedback.
I have never written a review before and would not be writing this one except for the fact that after such a poor experience at this restaurant, I was made to pay a mandatory minimum tip of %15 on their debit machine. I have always paid he suggested tips on these machines in the past at numerous restaurants, however tonight I wanted to leave a lesser amount do to the very bad meal I was served, but there was no option to do so. If attending this restaurant bring cash if you think you may want to pay less then %15 tip. The pizza crust was raw and the manager told us it was because the doe they were using was fresh. Instead of an offer to make things right, we had to pay more then expected for the meal we couldn't eat. We packed it up and took it home to cook. There were other really bad service issues as well, but I just figured that good waitresses are probably just hard to find and not worth complaining about. However the manager is doing a horrible job at satisfying customers with false pricing and allowing uncooked food to be served without an offer to make up for it. Horrible place to go.
Went there with 2 kids and my brother we waited over 2 hours for food. Had to ask multiple times to even get the kids food as they were getting very impatient. She was very snobby and ignorant and said it would be out shortly. The drinks were good but would not be going back as our night out for dinner that was expecting to be 1.5 hours was 3.
The food was good. However as we were waiting for our meal I noticed a couple of employees at a table wrapping utensils in napkins. One was constantly running her fingers through her hair and scratching her scalp between wrapping the utensils that customers would later be eating with. It continued for the whole time we were there. I sent a notice online regarding the experience and no one has gotten back to me.
4 of us went out for supper and spent 153.00 and had a terrible meal. The chicken sandwich was cold, the Calimari was uncooked, we got 5 wings with our order, the fries were cold, and the beef with shepherds pie was really soagy. I know it was Friday night, and was busy, but no excuse for such bad food. Our family visits here quite a bit, but last time I visit Boston Pizza again.
