The Harbour Grille - Grand Manan

There were few restaurants open on the island. We decided to get takeout here. My wife got a sub which was not bad. I ordered a pizza which was not very good. There was no sauce on it.

After reading the mixed reviews, we decided to try it for lunch. My fish and chips was about what I expected--OK but not exceptionable. On the other hand, the Shepherd's Pie special my wife got was "not good". While the portion size was large, the "mashed potatoes" were partly unmashed and undercooked, the meat was barely palatable, and the slaw tasted bad. We made a note to NOT make the mistake of going there again.

We stopped for lunch. The counter is busy with people getting ice cream and take out. It's obviously popular with the locals and that says a lot to me. Our food was good, had a home made feel. We enjoyed it and will go back again.

My husband and I were on the island to attend a funeral and we stopped at the Harbour Grille for lunch. I had the fish chowder that was super delicious and he had a cheeseburger and milkshake. We love this place.

Went in for a quick meal, have visited the island all my life and finally decided to give the place a go, really wish I wouldn't have! Service was terrible very rude and snarky, not to mention i got served undercooked eggs and the ice cream was freezer burnt, it was over priced and not worth your time or your money, try anywhere else then there!
