Description

Nestled in downtown Grand Junction, Guru's serves a vibrant blend of Indian, Nepali, and Himalayan cuisine. Diners rave about dishes like Chicken Korma, Tandoori Chicken, and Malai Kofta, appreciating the flavors and generous portions. The atmosphere is welcoming, and many commend the cleanliness and positive vibe. However, service has been inconsistent, with reports of unprofessional staff behavior and unclear pricing policies regarding gratuity. Some patrons express disappointment over the lack of takeout containers, while others overlook these issues for the food’s quality. Overall, Guru's offers an enticing dining experience with room for service improvement.

A cool place with good service and creative, healthy food. I genuinely enjoyed my smoothie as I listened to Spoon and used sustainable kitchenware.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! I visited the GJ location with friends last night, and it was an enjoyable experience. They offer vegan and gluten-free options, which is a huge plus! Although prices have increased recently, this seems to be the case everywhere. We're fortunate to have Indian and Nepali cuisine in our community. Let's support this business so we can ensure they stick around for a long time. Everything was delicious!

EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ENTERING THE RESTAURANT.I have gone to Gurus a couple of times and I love their food. Their staff is kind of Meh, but I’ve always over looked it because their food is so good. However, last time I was there and flipping through their menu, the very last page, in the bottom with a tiny font states, “15 percent Gratuity charge will be added to all bills”.I for one, have no problem with this, since other restaurants I’ve been to have done this, however the difference is that they advertise it very clearly everywhere. When I got my receipt from Gurus, it didn’t even have any statement of a gratuity charge. Just up-charged food items. Please adjust the tips you leave based off this up charge??
