I absolutely enjoy having tea and cake there, especially because the teacups are so lovely. There's something soothing about swirling milk into a good cup of tea. The prices are reasonable, the staff is prompt and friendly, and, above all, the quality remains consistently excellent.

What more could you want from a delightful cafe? The food has a homemade quality, but it’s crafted even better than what you might whip up yourself. The alternative fillings are really unique and it's just an all-around pleasure for your taste buds. The cafe itself is cozy and intimate, with a lovely outdoor balcony and a few tables inside. Because of its intimate atmosphere, I would recommend bringing a special someone here; it’s the perfect excuse to get close if that’s your vibe. While it’s not pictured, they serve the best milkshakes I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting, you definitely need to try one. Small towns like this are wonderful because they prioritize creating a great dining experience just as much as serving great food. Red Cafe is undoubtedly my favorite spot in Grahamstown!
