We finally tried this spot and are so delightfully happy! The space was clean, stylish, beautiful. The service was excellent. Not rushy, very courteous, attentive. The food came quick and was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend to others and will be back often! View all feedback.
What Debra doesn't like about Bamboo Bistro:
My husband and I have been to this restaurant multiple times in the past and have always enjoyed the authentic Thai cuisine. However, since the new ownership and new chef has been advertised, the food is not at all what it used to be. First, the vermicelli noodle bowl entree did not come with the sweet chili sauce, nor cilantro or lime, and just had a lot of iceberg lettuce, a few bean sprouts with a small amount of... This is not the place for pho. tried their broth and it taste more like a cinnamon tea and not herbal. however the red curry was delicious. the spring roll wrap is a bit plain just the shrimp and lettuce and noodle and a sweet sauce. the Thai tea is a bit different from other Thai tea but it's ok. the papaya salad is more like a Thai lite version. it was refreshing. don't get the pho.
Top notch take out! Thai Basil Delight is my favorite, loaded with veggies: red bell pepper, onion, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, carrot, a bit of cabbage of course basil. Curries are fantastic homemade, creamy, just the right level of spice!Food: 5/5
Probably one of the worst pho noodles I have had. Soup was very bland in flavor and the meat had a weird taste to it. Got Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee, sweetness wasn’t customizable, and they were both way too sweet to drink. Only good thing was that the staff was nice.Food: 1/5
The Bamboo Bistro of Grafton is an overlooked gem! It might be their location 1955 WI. Ave in Grafton working against them. But, if you're looking for a quaint romantic evening, Bamboo Bistro is your solution. We had the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. Both were perfectly delicious. Want a more intimate meal with a relaxed atmosphere? It's one of my top recommendations for this area and worth the drive from Milwaukee and surrounding cities.Vegetarian options: They were super vegetarian and vegan friendly. They were happy to include or exclude animal protiens. Upon request, they were nut allergens sensitive, too.Kid-friendliness: This would not be my first choice for children. Meals and entertainment are more adult oriented. But, they can certainly accommodate parents looking for a meal out with children.
Trying this place for the second time, under new management. Wow! what an improvement! pleasantly surprised!Crab Rangoon; tasty!Thai tea is probably one of my favorites in the area! yum!Bubble tea was good, the HARD as a rock boba in the bubble tea not so much... they're supposed to be soft and chewy? ?Pad woon sen ; delicious! no complaints.Pad see ew; Flavor was great, veggies were great... noodles were probably overcooked... VERY mushy :
