Pops Frozen Custard - LANNON

It's the Top of the Pops! What a great, old school frozen custard place! Totally retro in all the right ways!

SAFF: I think the staff was just overworked but the child taking my order had to keep bringing me back to the counter so I could repeat my order, this happened about 4 times. I felt so bad, it was about 8pm on a Sunday night so she must've been exhausted. CUSTARD: They didn't have the biggest range of options. They don't have mint custard unless you get a mint shake. I definitely want to go back and order a vanilla shake and fries! SEATING There is indoor and outdoor seating available but the place is popular so you may have to sit in your car.

This place is no doubt the best bang for your buck while having delicious custard. They have a wide variety of custard options. Nowhere have I seen as big a malts/shake menu and items such as the puppy chow sundea make going to Pop's a place that can please anyone. The prices are refreshing as one can order a burger and 2 scoops of custard for under $10. Try finding that anywhere else. The atmosphere is the standard small business custard stand. Nothing fancy but gets the job done. Pop's is for sure going to be a frequent stop for us whenever we are in the mood for a great desert while not breaking the bank.

Got carryout strawberry shake fir ailing husband. Delicios. Fresh fruit. Thick and creamy.

Excellent! But they often close and they aren't saying why.
