We enjoyed the food immensely. I'd like to point out that the spaetzle and mousse were presumably homemade, and the salad was NOT drowned in a horribly acidic dressing like in other restaurants. For many years, the Wilder Hirsch has been our absolute insider tip in Gräfelfing, and every visit confirms anew: They've created something truly special here. This unique blend of hut, kiosk, beach, and beer garden right on the Würm River is a true gem a place to relax and enjoy yourself that's rarely found these days. The inn is a little crazy but positively crazy, and has been for 15 years! That's precisely what makes it so irresistible. Everything here is authentic and rustic without seeming fake. The atmosphere practically invites you to linger, and the location directly on the Würm River lends the whole place an almost magical tranquility in the heart of Gräfelfing. What always delights us, however, is the cuisine: Everything is delicious and prepared with so much passion. The Wiener Schnitzel is a dream, and the cheese board is a poem for all cheese lovers. The roast beef strips with chanterelle mushrooms and spaetzle are an absolute highlight – you can taste the attention to detail in every bite. And the limoncello mousse, the crowning touch, is simply heavenly. The fantastic value for money is particularly noteworthy. In times when quality often comes at a high price, the Wilder Hirsch offers both: top quality at fair prices. Added to that, the service is truly top notch – friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. As long time regulars, we can only say: The Wilder Hirsch is and will remain our favorite place.
