In summer you can also sit outside.... read more For those from Munich who are a bit “off the beaten path”, there is an excellent Italian restaurant in the posh Gräfelfing. In summer you can also sit outside. The dishes are really excellent and are served beautifully presented. The sophisticated culinary art is also reflected in the Oreisen. That's not a bad thing, for something good yes, special you can spend a little more. It's not the Italian for every day. There is a “point deduction” for the limited vegetarian menu and even the lack of one or two vegan dishes. A plate of pasta tossed in butter with real truffles is something you don't often treat yourself to. But in this case, in addition to the cleverly prepared fish and meat offerings, the simple food lacks a little imagination. Very good wine and you should reserve as much space in your stomach a really delicious crème brûlée with thyme. All in all, it's not just worth a visit, whatever the occasion. ... and a very nice atmosphere.

Die Preise sind gehoben, aber immer noch oka... read more Das Ambiente und der Service im Lauraus sind super. Die Leute sind freundlich und die Räumlichkeiten sehr stilvoll. Die Preise sind gehoben, aber immer noch okay. Was allerdings wenig beeindruckt, sind die Pasta-Gerichte, die Größe der Portionen und vor allem Präsentation und Geschmack der Speisen. Wir hatten vier mal Pasta, u.a. von der Tageskarte und ein Fleischgericht. Die Pasta war komplett weichgekocht, ideenlos in den Teller geklatscht und hat in drei von vier Fällen einfach nur fad geschmeckt. Ich bin ja wirklich kein Fan von XXL-Portionen, aber das Fleisch beim vierten Gericht war wirklich kümmerlich. Das Brot war sehr gut und liebevoll angerichtet und auch die Qualität der Salate war gut. Aber auch hier war einfach alles auf den Teller geklatscht (anders kann ich das gar nicht sagen). Meiner Meinung nach liegt das Problem in der Küche und ein besserer Koch würde dem Laurus wahrscheinlich auch zu 5 Sternen verhelfen.
