If you are looking for a tasteful alternative to the culinary monotony in Cornwall, you have come to the right place. For a menu restaurant with about 70 pounds for six gäbge actually rather cheap. Very friendly young waiter! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

What Karen Wh dislikes about Fallowfields:
Rather disappointed with our pre booked afternoon tea. Presentation dull, choice of cakes poor and scones overbaked and stale. The waiter and waitress were pleasant and offered to give us a alternative to the scones but we declined. The picture I submitted has had most of what we ate removed. The scones were put on a separate plate. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other View all feedback.

We were absolutely impressed by the 7-course taster menu at this restaurant! Priced at £70, we found it to be very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. The fillet steak and vodka cured brill were exceptional - we can't stop thinking about them even three days later. It's clear that the staff really care about their work, which is refreshing to see as a local. We will definitely be returning in the future. Best wishes, Sean and Fern x. Food: 5/5.

I had dinner at this restaurant and it was fantastic! The price per person ranges from £20 to £30. The food was exceptional, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, another 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, I would also give it a 5 out of 5. Additionally, there is free parking available in the parking lot. I highly recommend dining here!

The tasting menu was absolutely excellent. Beautiful setting with wonderful views too. Will be going back as soon as we can!

Nestled in a picturesque location, this restaurant offers a dining experience that oscillates between exquisite culinary creations and occasional disappointments. While the seven-course taster menu at £70 receives rave reviews for its exceptional quality, including standout dishes like fillet steak and vodka cured brill, some diners have found the afternoon tea lacking in presentation and variety. The atmosphere is generally praised, and service is attentive, contributing to an inviting ambiance. However, a few patrons noted concerns over portion sizes versus pricing. Overall, this spot promises memorable meals for those seeking high-quality food in a charming setting.

The food was good, but it was very pricey. The portion sizes were so small that most of our group were still hungry after the meal. We found the informal restaurant at the hotel to be much better.

We were let down by our pre-booked afternoon tea. The presentation was unexciting, the selection of cakes was lacking, and the scones were overcooked and stale. The staff were friendly and suggested an alternative, but we declined. The platter we were served had most of the items that we didn't care for. The scones were served on a separate plate.

This restaurant is great for those with smaller appetites, who are mindful of their budget, and prefer a more traditional atmosphere. Make sure to request a table by the front window for the best bang for your buck!

The food here is actually exceptional. Even something as plain as a fillet steak had incredible detail and depth the ham hock starter was just as lovely. I cannot recommend this chef enough. The food brought a welcome reminder of what the world was like pre pandemic when we used to find hidden gems who presented us something new and interesting and made food that is worth taking about. Great value too. A highlight of our holiday to the area and comparable to any 5* London restaurant we are used to. Thank you.

The food was spectacular. Had one of the best meals I've ever had my starter (the cured brill) was particularly amazing. The service wasn't quite up to the same standard, there seemed to only be 2 serving staff dealing with the Fallowfields and the more casual sister restaurant. However, if they nail the service, this place would be one of the best restaurants to eat in the UK. Hope they can make it happen!
