I've been here several times, but it was my friends' first visit, and I assure you it won't be their last. The food is fresh, vibrant, and incredibly tasty. It's refreshing to dine in a place that prides itself on using all local produce. We sampled one of each of the small plates, along with a zucchini flower pizza, and shared everything among the three of us. Everything was beautifully presented, and since it was cooked fresh, it was served directly to our table. The staff demonstrated a deep knowledge of the menu and were more than happy to assist and provide guidance. The atmosphere is intimate, with a charming rustic feel that's almost magical. I can't wait to return soon. Thank you all for yet another wonderful experience!
Great use of seasonal produce as promised. We all liked the tomato based starter, then taste preferences took over between fish and meat. Great concept, superb evening
If you want fantastic food with eco friendly credentials and sustainability at its core then look no further. Seven courses over three hours within a quaint setting. A must for any foodie.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The fixed menu features fresh, locally sourced ingredients, primarily from their own gardens, and is expertly crafted. The chefs serve you personally and take the time to explain the ingredients and cooking methods. It's a wonderful dining experience in a laid-back atmosphere.
Amazing as always. Thank you so much, all the staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make the evening great. It’s never not impressive to dine at the New Yard, the food was incredible, the chicken dish was probably one of the best things that have ever entered my mouth, exploring the gardens seeing what you’re eating it’s such an insightful experience (don’t worry none of these pigs or chickens are harmed whilst creating the menu) could not recommend more.

Visited as a couple in June 2022. Fabulous food and service. Seasonal and local produce excellently cooked and served. Some unusual and very nice sustainable wines. Very good experience. Loved it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+
Amazing experiences at both the taster menu evening and cafe! Called in for coffee and a cake only the coffee arrived !! Disappointed with the offer of a refund and “dunno how that happened “
Lovely setting and nice staff. The food was excellent but be careful what you order! We had two of the pasta dishes which were lovely but overpriced and poor value for money (essentially it worked out at £3 a mouthful! . It’s a shame because we were really excited to eat here and seeing the pizza and fish that came out for other tables at pretty much the same price point we definitely just chose wrong! We were also the one of the first tables in for the lunch sitting and though I totally understand the small plates style of dining where your food just comes when it’s ready BUT it did feel like ours was rushed through (we hadn’t finished one before the others arrived and then struggled to find room on the table . Without meaning to at all we were practically in and out the place in half an hour great service but sometimes when you’re spending £70 on lunch you at least want the experience to last! try and read your tables!

Excellent value and v special restaurant we loved it, every course was inventive and extracted maximum flavour out of the key ingredient,wine list was good too. Highly recommend it.
A beautiful Sunday lunch, lots of veg and a gorgeous pudding! Really lovely service from friendly staff; looked forward to having the lunch and it not disappoint at all! Enjoyed the snooze afterwards too!

An exceptional location and experience that's fully immersive. Arrive ahead of your meal to check out the beautiful walled garden, seeing how each dish makes its way through to the kitchen and your plate. Staff were attentive, genuine, and engaging. The ambience perfect; the aesthetics charming. And each dish impeccable thoughtful and delicious. The drinks list also faultless. Worth every penny an investment to the future of how dining should be done.
