Even if I get bad service, I leave the public reviews for small businesses as I impress that this can be an important platform for business; but my very bad exp... read more Even if I get bad service, I leave the public reviews for small businesses as I impress that this can be an important platform for business; but my very bad experience at the piazza in grachen has forced me to see my first ever public...Review I visited piazza after a local recommendation in grachen with a party of 4 last week in the late afternoon. we ordered 2 pizzas (a vegetarian/pie and a hawaiian). in the Hawaiian pizza we asked the waiting staff to replace the ham with mushrooms as we are all vegetarian. the service staff assured us that they could be accommodated. we were happy with his accommodating service and decided to also order a rosti that was not on the menu. the kitchen has put something together fortunately. the pizzas were decent, but the rosti came out quite understated. Nevertheless, we did not make it a big problem, as it was special question court, and we continued with the meal. I was for an rude surprise when I received the bill and saw that the restaurant had charged an additional chf 2 to the bill for mushrooms on the Hawaiian pizza that they had assured us that they would replace the ham. after the check with the waiter on the additional fee, the waiter reacted that he did not the owner and not the rules. he also argued with a tense argument in which he claimed that if we had ordered the margherita and supplemented ananas and mushrooms, it would cost much more. his argument doesn't make sense, because I had a hawaiian and just wanted the ham to be replaced by mushrooms? last I checked, ham costs more than mushrooms?! so it doesn't make sense that they charge extra for mushrooms if the customer can't eat ham and the ham has asked to be replaced in the pizza with mushrooms. I asked him why he didn't tell us about the fee he had no answer to. the owner wasn't there where he was supposed to be found. it was a small amount, and I ran late and had to go, so I just paid and left, vowing never back. in so many years of travel I never had to experience such cheap and pathetic antiques of credible institutions. special message for the owner of the restaurant: Congratulations they are now chf2 richer and they get a 1 star free!
