Description

Boucher Bistro offers a blend of experiences, showcasing traditional French cuisine amid a warm ambiance. While some diners rave about the exceptional service and well-executed dishes, others have expressed disappointment over inflexible menu options and unexpected charges, particularly for simple items like bread. Signature dishes, such as bouillabaisse, have garnered mixed reviews—some highlight its vibrant flavors while others found it lacking. Despite occasional service missteps, many patrons appreciate the attentive staff and the restaurant’s suitability for special occasions. With varying experiences, potential guests may find joy in the cuisine but should also be mindful of potential pitfalls.

This is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions! My family thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and every dish we tried was delicious. The staff was incredibly helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. Here’s a breakdown of my ratings: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5. I highly recommend trying the Twice Baked Onion Gruyere Souffle, Watercress Vincotto, Classic Steak Tartare, Creme Brulee, and Escargot.

This charming little restaurant offers a pricing experience typical of a boutique establishment. While it was bustling on Saturday night, the atmosphere remained pleasant and conducive to conversation. The food was authentic and very enjoyable. For a dinner, the cost per person was over A$200.

My wife and I recently celebrated our golden wedding anniversary with dinner at Boucher. It was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last! The soufflé appetizer and chateaubriand main course were both delicious and generously portioned. We shared a delightful tarte tatin for dessert. The service was outstanding; the staff was very attentive and served us with friendly smiles. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and won’t be waiting another 50 years to come back! We plan to return soon!
