This restaurant, not to be confused with the 90's rapper White Boy Ice, is more commonly known as Ice Cream Charlies. It seems that an ice cream caravan has been operating in Vic Square since 1926. They offer delicious homemade vanilla ice cream with various toppings. The service may be a bit quick and the lines can get long, but on a hot day, they are hard to beat.

No visit to Christchurch is complete without an ice cream at 'Ice Cream Charlies '. As a long established business in Christchurch, the service and quality are professional and consistent.
