Utopia Ice - Governors Bay

Great customer service, the girl was super sweet and patient with me while I chose my dish. I decided to go with the vegan banana waffles, I enjoyed them but would probably try something different next time. The waffles were not very sweet.

I don't think I've ever visited a place like Utopia Ice before. They have some crazy and interesting flavours that make you feel like TRYING THEM ALL! (I personally have done a good job so far . And their waffles with vegan option included! are from another planet. Perfect for winter, as they're warm and delicious. Also, the place has a lovely decoration and their staff is the sweetest in town, specially Emilie who's always with a huge smile and willing to help you to decide (because trust me: it ain't easy! . You won't regret your visit, and you'll probably become a regular just life me because they definitely have the best ice cream in town <3 Totally recommended by @PigLifeDiary :

Absolutely amazing. Still salivating over the viet iced coffee flavour. Also had the greek yoghurt and sea buckthorn which tasted like a mix of calpis and yakult. Ice cream has a really crisp and pleasant finish that leaves you wanting more. It isn't too creamy to the point you're just thirsty. You just want more. Thirds or fourths? My only regret was not going earlier :

Delicious. Had the Anzac Bikkie on a cone for the first time and I highly recommend it. Not overly sweet and it hit the spot after dinner in the square

The best ice cream in Christchurch. Utopia Ice doesn't ONLY cater to gluten free, vegan, and dairy free customers (though I am incredibly grateful they do! They also have a diverse menu of dairy based ice creams, with flavours that you absolutely must try (that marscapone black boy peach! . They use local ingredients wherever possible, oh and did I mention the waffles? And the coffee? And the new cookies!? Go. Absolutely, you must go try them.
