Curry Garden - Governors Bay

This is cheap and cheerful!  A vege curry with rice and naan bread for $7!  That's sharp pricing.  Service here is top draw too.  I was dithering they insisted on giving me tastings of all 3 veg options .  The main improvement is the bain marie needs to be set about 2 degrees hotter.

Curry garden have different types of menu. And the taste is very delicious and the food portion excellent. Everything in curry garden is perfect And very friendly staff always go extra miles to fulfill customers expectations. Especially vindaloo and biryani best in Christchurch

Hey guys. Sooo with their old chef gone now. They have a new chef, that knows how to make his curry. Last chef. Most of his curry looked quiet watery, whether their new chiefs curry are more creamier and have more flavour to it, chicken falls apart when you eat it. Definitely try tikka masala or vindaloo. I've try them all, it's all much tastier now. Been working the dressmart for nearly 2 and half years. And seen chefs from curry garden come and go. But the one they have now. Is a keeper, he's great at his job.

The dosa is fantastic. Absolutely love the sambar better quality than any of the larger Indian restaurants in town we have tried. We thought we would never find good dosa after Kinara sadly closed, but very glad to find Curry Garden. Staff very friendly to us as well.

Fantastic taste, great value. Have currently tried about a dozen dishes, going back tonight, can't leave without samosas. The last reviewer must have very bad taste.
