Injera - Gothenburg

Despite the reasonable pricing, our overall experience at this restaurant was marred by the lack of service, atmosphere, and lengthy wait for our appetizer (which arrived just before the main dish). We ordered one Injera Special with meat and one vegetarian, but 70% of the dishes were identical, so I recommend trying the meat option along with another dish. While we were new to Injera, we found it to be somewhat bland with the exception of the spicy elements. Although it is meant to be eaten with your hands, we would have appreciated cutlery from the server. The chicken in our dish was undercooked, but we were pleasantly surprised when a replacement dish was offered to make up for it. The ambiance of the restaurant was lacking, with drab gray walls and minimal African decor. The photos on TheFork did not accurately portray the restaurant's appearance. The lack of soft materials in the dining area caused sound to bounce around, detracting from the overall dining experience. We hope that the restaurant will focus on improving the atmosphere and service in the future.

We ordered the mixed plate for two and found it to be delicious! I highly recommend it.

This restaurant in Gothenburg serves the best Ethiopian cuisine! The food was incredibly delicious and we had a fabulous evening. The staff were very professional and friendly. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it!

The final impression of the restaurant is centered around lunch. Friendly and attentive service from Asmara. A good selection of wine and beer. The coffee is also a standout.

The service might not have been the fastest but it was a bit slow. However, the food was excellent and worth the price! Recommended!
