The food was pretty good, however when we were there they were out of gumbo (and also out of cider) so I ordered a chicken burger which was good but not what I came there for. The service was alright, long wait to get the check though so we had to walk to the bar to pay to not miss our movie. View all feedback.
First we waited for 15 minutes to be seated even though we booked a table and came exactly on time. We waited for 50 minutes before we got our food. One of waiters accidently dropped mayonnaise and it was all over the floor for 20 minutes until we demanded to clean it. Very poor beer selection. Food quality is OK, not bad but nothing special given that price. This area has plenty of other places that i would recommend to go to instead.
A lavishly decorated place that oozes its namesake loud and clearly. Food was good and fit well with the atmosphere, both burgers and steaks looks and tastes like New Orleans. A big positive is the downstairs seating area, where the relative silence allows for a more intimate dining experience than one would expect considering the rowdy upstairs. Highly recommended.
Wonderful food. the staff went beyond and beyond to give great service. spicy eating with a real kick. jambalaya was a real tasty bite that garnel with chili and garlic were a good choice and the sweet kartoffel friries were a great diving combo for the various sauces. they rusted us a little bit away in less time than it needs to finish a beer, but really hope to stay at the next visit.
Friendly (and very nice bartender) staff. Good selection of beer and apple wine. Didn't eat here, so can't say how the food was. Easy walk from downtown hotels.
