I absolutely love this place! I always wanted to try it when they were in Maddington on Albany Highway, but I never got the chance until about three years ago. Since then, we quickly became regular customers. Now that they're in Championsea, right along our route, we couldn't be happier. Every dish we've tried is amazing. The staff are all very friendly and great to chat with. This restaurant is far better than any o... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Indian Village:
"The parking is located next to a large caravan park, with only about eight spaces available, which makes dining in a bit limited. However, the food is fantastic! They don’t have a lunch menu for favorites like butterfly prawns, and service can be a bit rushed. The cuisine offers a delightful mix of Indian dishes, and the plates are small but packed with flavor. I noticed some warming tea that I wanted to try, but unfortunately, I couldn’t purchase it, even though I saw an Indian woman enjoying it.
Overall, I really enjoy dining here—the prices are reasonable, and I love the butter naan and papadums. If the restaurant offered more seating options, it would enhance the dining experience. I often order takeout and will definitely continue to do so!".
I have no chance to taste the food, but I found it during the trip on lake road.
Once again we had a great time and a beautiful meal tonight. We have been dining at the Indian Village for years, we miss the buffet the previous location had, but always have great friendly service and a menu with a wide range to choose from. We definitely recommend the Indian Village.
We had butter chicken tonight and it was awful. Zero flavour besides burnt chicken and extremely watery flavourless sauce. So disappointed. We couldn’t even finish
Authentic Indian Village. Their goat's got bones in it. Which is good (delicious). And the girl that served us was a desirable kiwi, but there was no lassi. Butter chicken was very, very tender dish.
I'm just getting away from this place, but I stopped going if I didn't spend anything for the money after my opinion. this food is not cheap and I found that with the meals I bought, I have more sauce than meat. I don't pay up to $80 for sauce. you eat was good, I have no complaining about it, but in the type of person who does not complain, just never comes back.
