Golden Castle Chinese Restaurant

Love this old little Chinese restaurant eating great, portioning a good size, prices too day are really good service with a smile always! don't know what all these others are talking about!!!! we just go there now to. our perlige girl day outside! love it! jean x

I tried the garlic chicken, satay beef, and fried rice at this restaurant and all three dishes were delicious. The garlic chicken had a nice garlic flavor, while the satay beef was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. The fried rice was also very good. I definitely plan on returning to this restaurant.

On Wednesday evening dinner with friends and eating was great, service was prompt and waitress was friendly.

The restaurant's outdated decor gave off a strong sense of "oldness," which was less than appealing. Despite being one of only three customers, the service was slow and unimpressive. The food, including the special fried rice, lacked quality ingredients and was heavy on cornflour. The overall taste was average at best. The lack of attentiveness from the staff, particularly a young and unprofessional girl, added to the disappointing experience. Despite hearing positive reviews from others, the mediocre food and service left much to be desired.

Despite the outdated and somewhat uninspiring atmosphere of the restaurant, the food is exceptional. We have visited this establishment multiple times over the past five years and have always been impressed with the quality of the dishes, whether dining in or getting takeout. The menu, although traditional, is expertly prepared, flavorful, and delicious. The vegetables are fresh and the meats are tender. The prices are reasonable, the staff is helpful, friendly, and very courteous. We will definitely be returning in the future.
