Bamboo Tree - Gore
Bamboo Tree
Description
The Bamboo Tree delivers flavorful Thai staples—coconut rice, Tom Kha Gai and a reliably excellent cashew chicken—alongside generous portions and accommodating, allergy-friendly service. Both dine-in and takeaway are offered (dine-in slightly pricier), restrooms are tidy, and staff are generally cheerful and prompt. A handful of visitors report occasional dry dishes or slower waits, but overall it’s a welcoming, budget-friendly spot worth trying whether you’re local or just passing through.

The service was excellent—very courteous. Our food was served in a timely manner. We ordered curries, and both were wonderfully creamy. The takeaway menu is shown in the image I posted. The dine-in menu is quite similar, but it's slightly more expensive, which takes away some of its value. The restroom was clean and tidy. If I lived nearby, I would likely visit often, but since I'm not a local, I'm always looking to try something new!
I have an allergy to garlic and onion, and this is the first Thai restaurant that has successfully accommodated me! The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The portion sizes were generous, and we enjoyed the food so much that we decided to order more to take away. The flavors were fantastic, and the staff were very friendly.
