The holy grail in suburban Sydney is to find quality scrambled eggs. Not the crumbly dry pap that predominates, or the slightly soggy milky mess that is the substitute. Bakerie kills with proper, creamy, consistent and tasty scramble. Excellent. Coffee, Campos, is strong and perfect temperature, just how I like it with no bitterness. The in house sourdough is very good. The smashed avo delicious. The pastries are actually magnificent. It's a tiny spot on a suburban strip and it charges as a premium place. But the quality really is very high. So with few quality options this far out, just go for it. Your tongue will thank you.
I've only been herein passing but the coffee has always been really good and their fresh bread is delicious!
I often get my coffee here - Campos - and excellent. The sour dough is also good and the pastries delicious, including croissants and pistachio Portuguese tarts. They also serve pies and savoury foods.My only disappointment is the service - the staff are stoic and rarely crack a smile. Having said that, I keep going back because their food and coffee is delicious.
The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the coffee was delicious.
