La Bastide De Gordes

The hotel is very neat and the service is excellent, but the restaurant doesn't reach the level and I don't like it.

We love the beautiful hotel and travel in 5 stars. The French name of Palace has never been tested again, which would be higher than the 5 stars. We are doubtful, but we are curious about the experience offered by Les Airelles Gordes. We had the chance to be improved and we sincerely thank the Airelles for this great attention of our 20 years. SUPERIUM ROOM VALLEE The room is 29m2 and offers a magnificent view of the valley, the outdoor swimming pool and the sunset. It is elegant and picturesque, dressed in antique furniture and portrait gallery. There is a desk corner, a dressing room, a small bathroom with bathtub, double sink and toilet... nose stuck to the towel dryer. The bedding is phenomenal and very well isolated. We enjoyed it a lot! PISCINES and SPA Starting in November, the weather is spring and we swim at the heated outdoor pool at 28°. That's very sweet. There are refreshments, as well as sorbets. The indoor pool is not in the rest with a hammam corner and very pleasant sensory showers! Mignardises are also available. We received an absolutely fantastic signature massage, between relaxation and care. One of our best massages! BAR We took several aperitives on the terrace. The cocktails are original and good. And little cheeses are orgasmic! RESTAURATION The breakfast buffet is neat and qualitative. The panorama is very pleasant. We also ate at Glover. The value/price ratio did not follow, it was known at the opening of Jean-François Piège and it seemed more qualitative to us. It doesn't mean it's okay. We enjoyed L 'Orangerie, where the dishes are original and tasty. Only flat: the smallness of imposing furniture to eat folded on yourself as if it were a doll house. COMMUNITIES et PETITS PLUS The historic building is beautiful. The places of passage are carefully decorated, decorated with paintings and ancient books evoking the pastoral history of the region. We feel good, like in an old house. Is the Palace really different from a 5-star? It's hard to say, but at the Airelles Gordes, there's a lot of attention everywhere like board games and cards available for guests, the loan of a 2cv to visit the area, car cleaning, milking and gifts offered during the stay, the minibar offered in the room... and all these attentions reinforce the feeling of being at home. The staff was adorable, very helpful and friendly, efficient and kind. The concierge and the valet are characters, we love them! We also enjoyed the presence of the hotel's general manager on arrival and departure. No doubt we'll come back because what we feel good!

Exeptional dynamic and attentive team. A breathtaking view. Efficient and refined cuisine. The Sommeliers can surprise you with their selected finds in the neighbouring departments. However, you have to choose your armchair to be well installed and comfortable. A beautiful renovated house with very well-kept and refined care. A special mention for the beautiful waves of this place.

An exceptional site. A small flat on the staff, a little disinvolture in some.Designed by orangery, little generosity, and what is proposed in the plate, does not correspond to the final addition. We may have come by the day... it was a nice day.
