I waited an hour for delivery on a Wednesday night, which struck me as unusual. However, being from out of state and staying in a hotel, I decided to be patient—and I’m so glad I did! I ordered a large pizza topped with mushrooms, artichokes, ricotta cheese, and fresh garlic on a Sicilian crust. I also tried their fried cheese, served with a balsamic reduction and marinara sauce. It was the BEST PIZZA I've ever had!... View all feedback.
What Lizzie Murazik doesn't like about Gus's New York Pizza:
Bad Bad Bad experience. Having a going away party for our neighbor, So every one came over to wish them well. I ordered the 32 pizza from GUS'S to feed 12 people. Picked up the pizza on time and when we started we found the bottom was burnt black. Called the restaurant and was told the manager was in a meeting. Never got a call back. Very embarrassing, people couldn't eat any of it except the few pieces in the middle... View all feedback.
Food was excellent, service exceptional We tried the wings, pizza, baked ziti, Mac and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs and the bread knots. Everything tasted homemade, and not sour-y like other 'italian ' places. The only comment would be that the spaghetti could have been warmer, but since it was for my 5 year old, it was OK. My kids were given dough to play with, they loved that. It is reasonably priced, but is not fast food priced (obviously).. party of 7 payed about $70ish plus tip. The server was more than attentive. Very impressed we will be visiting again soon for sure.
First time at this location and hands-down one of the best spots I’ve been to yet, extremely friendly service phenomenal food and atmosphere will definitely make you want to come back for more.
Excellent pizza, and that's coming from someone who just moved here from New Jersey!!!! If you're looking for a good east coast style pizza, this is the place....
Grabbed a take out pizza from this joint. Staff was courteous and quick. The bar looked lively. The pizza was great but it isn't really a New York slice. We got the Supreme and really enjoyed the fresh ingredients, crust was fluffy and good. Really only lacking sauce, seemed like there was none on there. We also got the fried cheesecake which came with ice cream that was tasty.
Never have had a problem here. Is there stuff on their menu I don't like, of course there is. I am picky but, it is not their fault. I love their pizzas, son loves the pastas, and wife and kids are more picky on pizza then I am and they love it. We like our pizza on the thinner side but not cracker crispy and they do a good job making a crust very similar to a New York fat slice. We now stop in about once a month.
