Since I was not famiar with the... read more I was in Goochland and looking for a place to get something to eat. Eccoti was recommended. My server Cameron was very friendly. Since I was not famiar with the menu, I asked for her recommendation. She suggested the pasta. It was very good andjust what I was looking for. The restaurant was smaller, comfortable and had a pleasant decor. They also had outdoor seating. I would highly recommend it.

This is a new spot for us but we will most definitely be back! Editing ~3 years later: Took 2stars away after several terrible experiences with slow service and staff ignoring guests in order to loudly complain abouttheir jobs to other guests sitting a few feet away. Forgotten food orders (which is almost always a simple mistake in thisindustry) that come out super late with no admittance of mistake, apology, or effort on their part to make it right. This hashappened twice in my last 4 trips. Once was an appetizer that came out quickly once i mentioned we hadn?t gotten it, the otherwas my lunch that I ended up having to box up and eat later because I was on my break from work and didn?t think I would wait 40min for shrimp tacos. Used to love coming here, and figured since they have always seemed fully staffed (enough employees thatsomeone is always standing around) the ?post covid restaurant issues? wouldn?t be applicable but maybe that is the case. Its ina great spot, with decent food and drinks, but a crapshoot for service wouldn?t suggest bringing someone here if you plan tohave a business meeting or impress them in some way.

There isn't a bad thing on the menu. If there is livemusic ask for a table outside or in the back. It is quaint, but way too loud. I don't think they do it except on the weekends.
