If you can stop, drive 10 more miles for gas and save tons, then drive 10 more to Lockhart for some of the best bbq in Texas. The people who work here are beautiful, but they are constantly overcharged 0.60 per gallon on gas compared to any other who is bbq at best and overpriced, and they often change their closing times and ability to get food as they choose. This will be our new way to eat when you drive from Corpus to Murphy's Motocross track. Although they specialized in BBQ, I hunted a burger and took a chance. Wow, what a surprise. It was delicious and the Pommes were incredible. The staff is incredibly friendly and fun to chat. Oh yes, make a huge selection of beer and decent on tap selection.
