Country Kitchen - Gonzales

This place is fantastic, especially on Sundays! We couldn't believe that it costs only $8.95 for a full salad, entrees, and dessert. Everything is homemade. They offer a delicious variety including butter beans, pepper steak, chicken and dumplings, sweet potato casserole, pizza, gumbo, jam, green beans, fried chicken, fish, baked chicken, cornbread, and so much more. I don't think anyone could complain about such a great selection at such an affordable price! The only downside is that I wish they were open in the evening!

Delicious food and excellent service! This is the best home-style cooking you'll find anywhere. You won't find better value for your money, with a variety of salads, a dessert bar, and two main food bars available. Highly recommended!
