I paid $21 for... read more Summary: Sup Jus is a new establishment that still has some issues to iron out. The prices feel steep considering the quality and portion sizes. I paid $21 for a small soup, a small sandwich, and a 10oz pressed juice. Soup: 4/5 stars. I sampled four different soups, and all were delicious! Sandwich: 1/5 stars. I ordered the Hot Brisket, but it didn’t taste like any brisket I’ve ever had—I'm fairly certain it wasn’t real brisket. The sandwich was premade and reheated, tasting like it had been sitting for days. Their reheating method needs improvement; the top bread was overly hard and burnt, making it tough to bite and even injuring the roof of my mouth, while the bottom bread was soggy and moist. Pressed Juice: 3/5 stars. I tried the Power Greens. It was almost room temperature straight from the fridge, which was disappointing. It could use more lemon and ginger to enhance the flavor. The juice wasn’t filtered well, leaving lots of bits inside. At $6 for 10oz, it feels overpriced for what you get. Overall rating: 2/5 stars, but I’m giving 3/5 because I understand it’s a new business still finding its footing. I plan to return in two months to reassess. I hope they improve as I really like the concept!

I sampled the chicken sausage gumbo, Thai chicken curry, and tomato basil, and all three were delicious. The grilled turkey pastrami and cheese sandwich was also fantastic for dipping, and I enjoyed the Power Red fresh juice as well. I loved everything! I can't wait to return.
