I finally had the chance to try this restaurant, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the tonkotsu with pork belly, while my husband opted for the ramen burrito. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; the broth was incredibly flavorful and rich, though I couldn't finish it all. I'm glad I chose the thicker noodles—they were much more satisfying. My husband also liked his burrito, which came with a bowl of broth for dipping. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was quite busy. Both of us felt that our dishes could have used a little more spice, but we'd definitely return.
Their pork Tonkatsu ramen is the best ramen I've ever tasted! The portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh! During my visit to Goleta, I couldn't help but go there every day!
Nikka Ramen is a very inviting location in the heart of Goleta. The tonkatsu broth is quite unlike any other tonkatsu broth I’ve ever tried and they have 3 different versions of it! I got the traditional version with the thick noodles, added chicken, corn and an egg. It was very heart warming, savory and just the thing my stomach needed! Enjoy this gem in a college town where the scenery isn’t the only thing you’ll enjoy!
The pork bone broth is delicious, and the pork belly is even more amazing! I would definitely return.
