Kyle's Kitchen
Description
At Kyle's Kitchen in Fairview Center, diners encounter an inviting atmosphere perfect for families and friends. While many rave about the delicious Nashville hot chicken sandwich, crispy fries, and flavorful salads, concerns linger about inconsistency in food quality and service. Some diners have experienced wilted salads and disorganized staff behavior, suggesting a need for increased management oversight. However, the accommodating staff and community-oriented approach—supporting local charities—add to the restaurant's charm. Overall, Kyle's offers a promising dining experience, albeit with room for improvement in both food quality and service consistency.

While the flavor was enjoyable and the lettuce appeared fresh, I found the amount of chicken in the $16 salad to be quite limited.
I had a fantastic Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Since I don't eat mayo, I chose to skip the aioli. The seasoning in the breading was still amazing. I also appreciated the option to swap the bun for a lettuce wrap. I'm excited to explore more items on their menu!
The salad I ordered was wilted and dressing had been thown in and leaked all over. There really does not seem to be any oversight over the teens working there. The staff were all goofing off as if nothing else mattered. I saw a young guy throw aglass of water onto his girlfriend at the entrance and then chase her around the outdoor seating. I am wondering if this lack ofmanagement presence explains the decrease in quality of the food I have been receiving past three visits. Not sure at this pointif I will recommend or return. Sad because it is a nice concept but quality has shifted dramatically.
I enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger accompanied by a Thai Peanut Salad—a fantastic combination. I really like the buns they use for the burgers. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food.
Whenever I visit my mom in Goleta, we almost always stop at Kyle's Kitchen. Their hamburgers are fantastic. For those who don’t eat meat, they offer amazing salads—some with meat, some without. I especially love the cowboy salad. They have two locations to serve you, which is pretty convenient!
