I really enjoyed the delicious avocado toast (just ask for it without feta), and my husband had the jackfruit taquitos, which were served with a generous side of skin-on fries!
I enjoyed one of the bowls while skiing at Kicking Horse, and it was absolutely fantastic. They also had a vegan soup featured on the menu that day. It's a wonderful spot to grab a bite on the mountain.
This we stumbled upon, we were only after almond milk for our coffees but were pleasantly surprised with options for lunch! We got a veganised version of the avocado toast hold the cheese and the already vegan glory bowl. I got a smoothie and 2 coffees with almond milk really good coffee!! . The food was fabulous. Really. The avocado toast was not just some avocado on bread, it had olives, rocket and a tahini drizzle. Delicious. So good we went back up the mountain for lunch the next day. This is located at Kicking Horse at bottom of the chairs to go visit Boo in the Bear Sanctuary.
The coffee here is fantastic, featuring expertly blended plant-based milks— and there's no extra charge! I tried an iced latte with oat milk, and its sweet creaminess complemented the rich, earthy espresso perfectly. I also enjoyed the vegan TLT bagel sandwich; even though I'm not a huge fan of tempeh, the pickled cabbage added a nice balance to the flavors. I've heard great things about their large soft pretzel served with vegan mayo as well. It seems that they could also accommodate a request to veganize the mushroom shawarma.
Love this place. We don't ski. However, we took the gondola ride twice. The view is beautiful from the top. there is a restaurant on the top but unfortunately, it is close to the public for a wedding. Still, we enjoyed the view. The gondola ride cost half price after 2.30 pm for the rest of the day. It's about a 20min ride on one side where you can watch people ski and maybe be able to see the grizzly bear boo located on the mountain.
