Legendz Diner - Golden

Better than the fast food options alongside it. Good breakfast, fast friendly service. Coffee was just ok, but much needed.

Its a 50's style diner located in the middle of nowhere. I did not have high expectations and was not disappointed. Meal was typical greasy diner fare at slightly higher then reasonable prices. Not very clean though. I would actually use the word "gross" in some areas. The floor was revolting, and the ketchup bottles are clearly not washed before refilling, as there was black goo (mold? *shudder) around the rim and in the lid. Seems to be a popular truck stop. Fries are simply just McCains crinkle cuts. Server was nice though.

Called in to get takeout breakfast on way to Lake Louise. Bacon and egg muffins and hash browns. Was super greasy, a mountain of margerine on muffins. Then nearly had kittens when I went to pay, close to 25$ for 2 serves. Go to the A&E or something

We thought we would try this little restaurant when passing through Golden for something different. It looks very cute when you walk in with the 50's style. When you start looking around, the place is FILTHY!!! a little daily cleaning may be done but that would be about it. The service was mediocre at best. I am a burger fanatic but only if they are home made. I asked the waitress specifically 3x to ensure the burgers were in fact home made, in house to which she told me yes. In fact the burgers came out, both flower shaped and obviously commercially prepared and bought frozen. Disgusting, she didn't return till we were done, I barely even ate half, and when asked all she responded with was "Im sorry" and fully charged us for both burgers. Sorry but this is NOT a place I will ever return to.

We had a terrible $80+ experience here. The waitress was rude to our son. Our daughters meal was missed completely and we had to order it a second time. Her meal arrived after everyone else had already eaten. There was no apology for missing her meal and the management refused to give any sort of discount for the error. The manager argued with the waitress about giving a discount said that she could pay for my daughter's meal if she wanted to discount it. The food was mediocre at best with reheated burger patties and deep fried frozen fries and nuggets. I highly recommend that if you go through Golden that you choose somewhere else to eat. .
