Excellent Vietnamese food. especially the phõ is great. very nice and accommodating operation
Good portions, can also buy drinks here. Ente was a little dry and sauce not original Thai sharp, but for a cheap eating, quite good price-performance ratio for large portions and no bad taste.
In advance, this restaurant is renamed "long anh". the building is not a hindrance from the outside. but inside: very modern but nevertheless Asian harmoniously furnished. you will be kindly received and accompanied to a table. past a children's corner, which really deserves this name, you get into another room. all very nice. I was amazed that many tables were already occupied on a weekday at 18:00. the answer gave me that. both the appetizer, the suppe and the main dish were excellent. the hawn crispy has earned his name. the portions are well selected (not the unappetizing amounts of other asiates) and yet large enough to be filled. all in all highly recommended. only drop of wormwood: the beer was warm, but it is perfectly cooled.
Decor wise and taste wise, this restaurant is pretty good. Service and time wise it 's horrible. It took 45 minutes for our three piece small spring roll appetizer to arrive. It took us three hours total before we could leave the restaurant. It seemed like there was only one server working for the night. When we asked her at the end of our meal why it took so long she said we thought it wouldn 't be busy because of the marathon. Bad answer. However, the pho tai we ordered was really good. It came in a nice big portion and the meat was really tender. Delicious. They also have a good selection of juices, cocktails, wine and beer. I wasn 't too fond of the curry beef I ordered but the rest of our meal was quite good. The restaurant is located in the cute old part of town. I might come back here if I was really craving some pho, but I would definitely expect a long, long wait.
Went there twice in the same week and really enjoyed eating solid Vietnamese food outside on a beautiful September Day. My regular Vietnamese home is Quang in Minneapolis and this place measures up I learned the hard way that what is called a spring roll in the US is called a summer roll in Germany. But Pho is Pho and I loved it when it showed up the way it should, with a plate of fresh basil, and other goodies. Pleasant service and nice environment.
