I stumbled over this place after I had walked a few blocks from the train station in the direction of divine city center. I went in and was greeted by very friendly English-speaking staff. I ordered a tomato cheese-seed crêpe with and a chai tea with foamed milk. the crêpe was well prepared, thin and light, as crêpes should be, and the chai tea was of good quality and was beautifully presented with a small container... One of the best place to get cocktails in Göttingen. Most cocktails cost around 6-7 euro.
A fairly normal café by day and a heavy metal bar by night. Situated close to the train station and most of the bigger hotels. They have a rotating art collection on the walls, every other month something new is put up making the atmosphere and interior a bit more interesting for regulars. For me personally the best thing to come for is the beer though. Currently Monster Cafe is one of the few bars in Göttingen that sell craft beer, so it's definitely worth going just for that.

Overall experience at Monster Bar is quite enjoyable. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options, catering to different preferences.
