Super popular pub we were looking to eat in but it was so busy we just had a beer. Nice atmosphere but if your looking to eat don’t just rock up there..

How times have changed in the beer world. Back in the 1970s and 1980s beer was in a bad way. The big boys wanted to take over the world and all that would be left just tasteless, characterless fizz. Luckily, thanks to CAMRA in the UK and other similar organisations in Europe and the US, real beer has survived and thriving. Nowadays of course there is the 'craft beer ' revolution. I visited Ölstugan Tullen last night and the place was buzzing with both genders enjoying some fantastic beer. On offer were some fifteen brews on tap and countless in bottles. As far as I could tell they were nearly all Swedish. I had some draught Sitting Bulldog IPA from the Gottlands Brewery. A wonderful hoppy and aromatic brew that I could happily have drunk all night. Very reasonably priced food is also served.

Love the great selection of locally brewed beer, amazing atmosphere and great service from the bartender! they can also after a taste test of the one before the decision which insert into their system!

Popular location, the bar itself is more a clip in järntorget. the outside area is spacious.
