Loffel-Bar - Görlitz

Growing in East Germany, we had certain dishes that were in our school caféterias stack. While I am happy that these times are long gone, I miss these childhood aromas here in Canada! Milk rice with sugar and cinnamon (warm rice pudding with cinnamon and brown butter), macaroni with tomato sauce (macaroni with tomato sauce), Soljanka (no explanation required – just try it) and many other popular dishes from behind then at unbeatable prices! You also have to go containers if you can't finish it or want to store your refrigerator. The ladies who work there are super friendly and also make big coffee!

Hier bekommt man Suppen und Eintöpfe oder Nudeln mit Tomatensauce. Leider waren letztere etwas verkocht und wenig gewürzt. Auch die Soljanka war nicht mehr so ganz frisch und etwas dünn. Aber bei dem Preis kann man kaum meckern. Ist für eine kurze Mittagspause ganz ok.

Das kleine Lokal ist für den schnellen Mittagsimbiss zu empfehlen. Allerdings nur werktags und nur wenige Zeit geöffnet. Sehr sauber und preiswert, aber auch nur mittelmäßige Qualität. Die Soljanka war sehr dünn und bei der Nudelsuppe hatten die Nudeln auch schon die beste Zeit hinter sich.
