What Mayna C doesn't like about Dragonaro Chinese:
Not the place to go if you want authentic chinese TASTING dishes. Not cheap. Was recommended by a friend to go. What a disappointment, service quite good but food very bland tasteless. Ordered a whole crispy duck with pancakes etc £35 which is alot dearer than UK, but thought we'd give it a try. Wow when the plate turned up on a sandwich plate was shocked to say the least. We were slightly trepidatious about whether this might be a mass market ‘pack em in’ type Chinese restaurant but we need not have been concerned. Good food, well cooked and excellent service. Wide menu largely ordered by number at the table as in UK. Worth ordering 2 portions of rice for 4 diners as just one was insufficient. Personally I felt many other diners were somewhat under dressed for dinner which is a shame but that may be more to do with my age. We are returning tonight as we felt the previous meal and service was very good.
Got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I r ever been to.. looking forward to going back in September...
