Chuck's Roadhouse Grill - Goderich

I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, who accused me of yelling at him. I explained that I was simply speaking loudly because of the noisy environment around me. He told me that since the order was paid for, there was nothing he could do. When I asked what would happen if I had ordered over the phone without paying first and didn't pick it up, he hung up on me. A few minutes later, my friend called, but the manager interrupted her and wouldn't let her speak. He insisted that it was not his responsibility that the website had malfunctioned and that since the food was paid for, there was nothing to address. He also dismissed my concern, saying I was overreacting. This behavior was extremely unprofessional for a manager at an establishment with such a good reputation. I was appalled by how the situation was handled. My friend drove 40 minutes to pick up cold food and received no apology or explanation from the manager. I would not recommend this restaurant’s management if the same person is in charge during the dinner rush on November 10, 2023. It’s disappointing.

We ordered garlic bread with cheese, but what we received were buns topped with cheese. My Caesar salad tasted as if the dressing had been diluted, and my fish was overcooked. My daughter’s Parmesan noodles were burnt and lacked enough cheese. We also waited at the door for about 10 minutes to be seated, even though there were open tables. The service was truly disappointing. I won’t be returning!

Terrible customer service! I ordered a steak, but it arrived cold at the table. I called the waitress over to inform her, and her response was, "I don’t know why." She took the steak back and then came back to ask if I wanted it put back on the grill. They did put it on the grill, but it came back the same way. Her response was still the same: "I don’t know why that happened."

The food and service was good. My friend had the fish and chips with 2 pieces of fish... It was a large serving. I had the Chicken BLT sandwich and it was also tasty. Overall a great lunch

Our food and service here were good,However it is hard to carry on a conversation when the atmosphere including the music is too loud.
