My family and I recently made a long weekend trip to Lake Huron. Since I have no idea how to fish, I decided to see if there are any local restaurants serving local fish. The blue was the perfect place to go! They even have a family contract with a variety of fried fish and a ton of fries. Service was friendly and efficient. Our meal was not quite ready when I arrived to pick up, so they offered to bring it to my car... View all feedback.

To Vera L. I am sorry but I consider you the rude person for coming in at 6.25 for a meal when you know they close at 7. It takes at least 15 minutes to prepare the meal and that means you would be sitting there after 7 p.m. I am sure their employees do not get paid overtime! Put yourself in the workers position as they probably make not much more than the minimum wage! I have found them to be gracious and helpful wh... View all feedback.
Although fishing runs in my family, today I prefer to buy caught fish from a reliable and friendly fish merchant who has been in operation for over 14 years From the blue seafood market! A stone 's away from Bayfield's Clan Gregor Square is where I prefer to go for fresh sea and ocean fish, fresh seafood lobster dicks, crab legs, scallops and shrimps. It's called Out of The Blue Seafood Market and it's a family favorite place to get great quality FRESH fish and seafood, chowder, fish and chips. Sue is amazing! I had a delicious yellow perch combo of fish and chips, my family got the pimple with Coleslaw, with an ice-cold pop from their refrigerator. I noticed that other fish and chips ordered for the start, and bought fresh and frozen fish and seafood to take home to make for their family meal. At the end of October 2022 they closed on Mondays and Tuesdays due to a lack of personnel, but they 're market is open all year round from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and open for departure daily from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you're in the neighborhood, stop and say hello. The great thing about Out of The Blue Seafood Market is that they support the community. Sooooooo gooood fish! I started being a fish eater for Sue! They all make their smoking fish, make their own sound chowder! The best place for great fish!
Great! The fish bite is the way to go small pieces of many varieties. Clam Chowder was also super good. Even the sister-in-law is good. Next time I'm in town.

Our meal was not quite ready when I arrived to pick up, so they offered to bring it to my car (probably to avoid constipation in the branch with COVID restrictions, but still a nice note). The food was fresh and delicious. We wouldn't hesitate to return if we were back in the area!
Out of the Blue is great. Sue and her staff are very friendly. They have a wide range of fish available for take out fish and chips. Their smoked fish is amazing and they have regular fresh fish on a daily basis. Highly recommend!
