My son had a stool; I had the cheese panini, and both dishes were more than enough. the view over the lake huron makes this restaurant special. it was a pleasure to eat something here.
I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for a while, but I only visit Goderich once a year. Finally, this year I had the chance to visit. After a cloudy day, the sun came out and we decided to have dinner while enjoying the beautiful sunset. We were fortunate to secure a table on the patio and we stayed until the sun had completely set. Watching the sun go down over Lake Huron was a truly remarkable experience, especially while sitting on the patio with a friend and a cocktail. The menu wasn't extensive, but it offered nice options. Personally, I appreciate a limited menu that focuses on quality. We both ordered the perch tacos, which were delicious. The batter was perfectly crispy. I would suggest reconsidering the portion size and offering two tacos with a side salad or fries, or offering a small side at a good price. Two tacos is likely enough for most people as they are quite generous. The drinks were creative and reasonably priced, but they were a bit watered down. The service was good, our server was friendly and attentive but also gave us space. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be returning for another sunset dinner. The sunsets over Lake Huron are truly unforgettable and not to be missed.
Great location, not so great food. I had the Haddock and chips. Fish was soggy and fries were all little pieces like from the bottom of the bag.
