We've been here for over a year and we love it here. The food is always amazing. You just have a new cook, so now it's even better and ridiculously fast! If you're sure to check their fish tacos, they're the best I've ever had. Finish the fried ice cream and you will not be disappointed! View all feedback.
What Kendra A doesn't like about Sawdust Cafe:
I was not very impressed with this restaurant. The service was slow and our waitress appeared rushed and flustered throughout most of our meal, though she did improve once we received our food (which took an hour to arrive after ordering!). We ordered three different quesadillas and a salad, so I was expecting a quicker service. The guacamole and chips we ordered also did not meet my expectations; it tasted like stor... 6/29/2021. Service was excellent, I had the baby ribs they were very delicate from the bone. Then finished at the bar with a drink after dinner
The food was amazing and service was great. There was a man working in the whole restaurant, and he did a great job! Baked ice cream was also great!

Good food, good prices, friendly staff. Service was a little slow for the crowd of people in the restaurant, but this is forgiven. A nice little place I'm glad we found.
Above average choice for a casual meal. The manageable menu has a few twists that lift it from the ordinary; there was a bit of apple chutney in my pulled pork sandwich and andouille sausage in my potato salad (I couldn't actually find it, but the potatoes were fresh and tender and the dressing well-balanced). There are several Mexican entrees and side menus of specialty cocktails and house-made desserts (the fried ice cream seems to be a favorite). Prices are more than fair--my pulled pork on a generous Kaiser roll with choice of side was $8.99. The location is an older building right on Front Street. You go through a little entry hall to reach the dining room; duck your head if you're tall. The room was a tad chilly on the first snow day of the season, but I solved that by leaving my coat on.
