Contribute FeedbackRestaurant du Loup in Bordeaux offers fantastic value for money and a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere. The food is good, with some dishes receiving mixed reviews. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the experience. The Snooty Fox in Tetbury provides a cozy dining room and a pleasant overall experience, although some guests found the service a bit slow. The food was enjoyable, particularly the chicken with creamy leek sauce. Overall, both restaurants offer unique experiences worth trying, with some minor issues to consider.
The Snooty Fox in Tetbury offers a charming dining room with wood paneling and a cozy lounge for coffee, complete with a friendly great dane named George. The service was mostly pleasant and efficient, especially after we provided some direction. Both of us enjoyed the chicken with creamy leek sauce as our main dish, although we were disappointed to find that the Brown Brothers dessert wine was unavailable.
"Loup Restaurant in Bordeaux is a traditional establishment with a slightly formal atmosphere. The food is decent, but the scallops were too sweet for my taste due to the honey. The dishes felt a bit heavy for me. The restaurant wasn't very crowded."
We had a wonderful evening. The 25 Euro menu offers great value.
We booked short notice for the Snooty Fox and they telephoned to warn us they had 2 large christmas parties in so the service might be slow. We went anyway and thoroughly enjoyed dinner made even better by carol singers!
The Snooty Fox in Tetbury features an attractive wood panelled dining room and lounge for coffee, and a great dane called George. We found the service mostly pleasant and efficient, with some encouragement from us. Food was fine we both had chicken with creamy leek sauce as main. Pity the Brown Brothers desert wine was finished
