Very pleased with the service and food. We had lunch there at 3pm when other places stopped serving hot food . Authentic Greek food, fresh and tasty tomatoes in Greek salad (very generous portion , delicious musaka and a Greek coffee. Very good value for money and most importantly warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will come back another time: View all feedback.

When I was just 17 years old, I was taken to this restaurant by a 35 year old man for dinner. It was not just any dinner, as it ended up being the night I lost my virginity. The arrangements with the Taverna were clearly pre-planned, as the owner seemed to be expecting us. After enjoying a delicious Greek meal, there was a knowing look between the owner and my companion, indicating that the "usual" room was ready for us. The food was wonderful and the room was comfortable for what was to come. After saying our goodbyes with a few glasses of wine, I look forward to going back someday to reconnect with old friends.
I am convinced the guy added something “special” to the CREAM for the profiteroles. Honestly. They told me my desert was “almost coming”, as they laughed. He stood over me watching me taste it after he gave it to me. I almost spat it out when I tasted it and didn’t eat any more. No atmosphere, really weird leechy men who can’t cook. Please please please don’t go here. They should be shut down. Plenty of other nice places to go instead.
A very old friend Nicki's Taverna restaurant established for over 50 years. Not special or gourmet but GREAT Cypriot food worth dying for. Nuff said!
My wife, two friends, and I came to this restaurant on a Friday night around 8pm and were surprised to find it completely empty. The owner was friendly, but I found it strange when I asked about the soup of the day and he asked me what I would like it to be. I requested tomato soup, which was tasty, but I couldn't help but wonder if it came from a tin due to how quickly it was served. The soup was accompanied by plain white bread, which was a bit unexpected for a restaurant. However, the main courses were excellent, particularly my kleftico which was tender and delicious, although I didn't care for the rice that came with it. The wine was reasonably priced and we were only charged for two glasses, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, my wife and friends enjoyed their meals more than I did. The restaurant closed shortly after we left, which added to the odd atmosphere. Personally, I wouldn't choose to return.
