Description

Fagin's, a local pub, has garnered mixed reviews from patrons. While some guests have enjoyed delightful meals, such as beautifully presented starters and hearty steak pies, others have faced significant disappointments, citing tasteless dishes and poorly managed facilities. Families have reported unsafe conditions on the bouncy castle, causing concerns for children's safety. However, many regulars appreciate the friendly service, accommodating staff, and vibrant atmosphere. Popular for its Sunday lunches and festive menus, Fagin's remains a favored destination for those seeking a lively dining experience, though potential visitors are advised to consider their dining preferences and family dynamics before arriving.

We went to Fagin’s for a family Christmas Menu. The food was great, service was great and we like the pub atmosphere. The turkey was good value and the menu accommodated the vegetarians in our family. We have used Fagin’s many times and always enjoy going back.Thank you to the Fagin’s staff.

Family xmas dinner at Fagins, excellent food, quick and friendly service by staff. There was 11 of us and the food was piping hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thankyou to all the staff at Fagins. We class this pub as our local, we go for midweek food quite often, steaks are our favourite, always cooked to our liking.

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. When I arrived, I found that most of the tables in the shade had been reserved for large family gatherings with noisy children. It felt unfair, especially considering the heat and the fact that it is a family-friendly pub. It seemed like they were expecting other families with children to sit in the sun. There was a bouncy castle, but it was being neglected by the staff, and the parents were not watching their children, who were misbehaving. My 3 and 6-year-old children were hurt and bullied on the bouncy castle by older kids. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing family pub, I would recommend looking elsewhere. It's a shame because the pub is close to my home, but I won't be returning.

Do not bring young children to this establishment! The bouncy castle was taken over by unruly teenagers who were performing dangerous acrobatics and jumping around without regard for others. Unfortunately, my 2-year-old grandson was accidentally injured by one of these teens. The parents of these teenagers seemed unconcerned about their behavior. We had plans to meet friends and dine at the restaurant, but decided to leave and meet them elsewhere due to safety concerns. This resulted in a loss of revenue for the restaurant, approximately £150. We will not be returning as there appears to be a lack of supervision by parents, putting small children at risk. If this issue is not addressed, the restaurant may face legal action from a family whose child is seriously injured.
