Had breakfast there with family during a visit to Gloucester and we were impressed as how over the board the staff went. One of the drinks was slightly later (by like 2mns) and they gave us free cake to compensate! The staff was friendly and the food/drinks represented the brand well. Will definitely go back. What E484GCmonikal doesn't like about Costa Coffee:
Went to get a coconut flat white on Saturday, 19th Nov afternoon. 6 member of staff were on shift. It took 25 minutes to make my drink even then they made it drink In instead of take away. Very unorganised, no leader or 1 person who would have controlled the other team members. Few of them were laughing loud at the back while 1 person (short blonde hair) was making the drinks. Very fast service despite a waiting queue when I arrived, took only a few minutes before I had ordered and received my order.
You understand what you're doing. it is a chain, so usual drink and snack menu. not too busy early in the morning and many seats available. it needs an update and a good cleanliness to bring it back to standard.
Always love a Costa had the brie bacon and cranberry panini so glad there back recommend if you want something a bit different
A good thing about this kind of chain is at least they know what they get. it will be quite exactly the same wherever they happen
Great coffee, friendly staff, clean and tidy. good place to stop at a cozy day or if you need a hot drink in a hurry on the way elsewhere.
