Takeaway, given incorrect meal had to return it, they were aware what they supplied. Chicken curry, this was supplied with chicken pieces placed in the bottom of the tray with sauce poured over the top.when we upturned the contents the chicken was not even cooked with the curry. I rang to complain and was told we were busy ! Having been a regular loyal customer this is the last time I buy from this place. As you can guess, I did not eat it and just binned it.
My favourite takeaway. The staff are pleasant not overly effusive, but the food is great. We order a variety of dishes, we usually fancy something different, We've never had a bad meal. Our favourites are chicken mushrooms, pancake rolls, sweet and sour and curry.
Very disappointing food. Lacking flavour, the chicken balls obviously cooked twice, the sweet and sour sauce was neither sweet nor sour! I found about 3 black beans in the vegetable and black bean sauce which was without flavour! We are visiting the area and are used to much better Chinese food than this. And they forgot to add the spring rolls we asked for! (But maybe that was a blessing)
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, recommended by a friend. The food was outstanding and so was the service. The last time I had such top quality Chinese takeaway was about 15 years ago from Springbank in Cheltenham, but they have sadly retired since then. I have been struggling to find a takeaway with real flair ever since. We don't eat out often because we are put off by other offerings and tired of gloopy, salty food. Every dish at this restaurant was made with care and it was great value for money. While it may not be fine dining, all the meat and seafood tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. Each dish had a unique and delicious flavor. I saw a few negative reviews but I would ignore them unless you are the type of person who thinks McDonald's burgers are the best.
